Leveling kit question

My truck is long overdue for shocks it has those junk factory rancho shocks and I was looking at upgrading to bilstein 5100s for now and sometime in the near future put in a 2" leveling kit, if I put the shocks in now and did a leveling kit later on would I have to get new shocks again or is it possible to use stock height shocks?

You will be fine. My shocks were good for stock up to 4" lift.

Thanks for the response I will stick to my original plan and just do the shocks for now and do the leveling kit later
