color matched oval overlays

Post got deleted. Someone has directions on how to heat and get the blue out of the stock emblems so you can paint them the color you want. Im wanting to get some colored matched ovals for my grandfather for christmas or strip stock ones and painted them. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Mike
