Tonneau Cover Questions...

Hey whats up fellas,

I know this going to probably be an impossible question, but I was wondering if anyone knew ALL (or most) of the manufacturers that Tonneuas/truck lids for our trucks. I know there must be a ton.

Now, I do like the retrax type tonneaus, but if I could find a flush-mounted, nice hard tonneau, I would prefer it. (No soft tonneaus for me please) Anyne got any ideas?

Let's see who has the biggest list of manufacturers... Winner gets an e-cookie! (lol)

TIA fellas

OK now I am kind of eyeing a Truck Covers USA roll-cover. Looks pretty sweet.

Anyone with any experience with these? Good/Bad? Heat Warping, bowing at high speeds, rusting, leaks, etc.?

I'm really liking this thing now.

I have a Patriot, By Swiss hard cover on my truck and love it.

It seals very well, looks good, and if you have a good dealer will come custome painted to match the exact color shade of your vehicle, mine did!!!

I heard that the motors on these things go out really fast? Anyone with any knowledge otherwise???

I REALLY like these but I also heard the motor is not cheap and they charge you to install a new motor as well. I have heard people only getting 1 to 2 years out of the motor????

THanks!

Bill

These are motorized covers right? As in you push a button on a key fob and they open and close??? Or are these the ones that you manually open and close?

Sorry for any confusion my post might have generated...I was chiming in about motorized covers that open and close in the same manner as the one you guys might of been talking about that is a manual open and close.

Mine isn't motorized.. it's a hard fiberglass cover.. it hinges at the front, and gas charged shocks to help open it.
