With my current worn 265/70 R17 tires my truck height is 40" from pavement to fender edge at the rear and 39 1/4" in the front. Is that sufficient to clear the 285/70 with the Ford brand mud-flaps? (I guess I should have measured from hub to fender edge) And lastly has anyone done a mileage comparison of how much they lost by going from a 31" tire to a 33" ? Or if it actually makes the OD speed read correct? I'm averaging 18.5mpg (SCT ID aggressive street) with a light foot commuting through 15 stoplights on my 24mile commute. I can average 19.5mpg if I really baby it. I've never recorded unloaded highway mileage because we're always towing with the truck on trips unless we take the trip in our 48mpg VW diesel. I probably could do better if I kept it in the SCT ID Economy tune but I've never been able to leave it with that program more than a day... It feels too much like stock
