DIY RBP grille?

Hello, I know this has been probably asked a lot. I have tried searching the forums and didn't really find much, but does anyone know how to make there 05-07 grille look like those rbp grilles. I want to paint it and cut it this weekend and run to hardware store to get the mesh and bolts and stuff just not really sure what people are using to cut there grilles and and where exactly. from looking at some pictures it looks like people are cutting out the center before the 2 parallel bars.. any help, steps, and or advice would be great. Thank you

Home Depot sells it in my town. You don't have a metal yard that sells ductile iron pipe, fitting, angle iron... Etc?

Crown Bolt, 24 in. x 3/4 in. x 24 in. Metal Plain Expanded Sheet, 45840 at The Home Depot - Tablet

This is smaller than what I used but you could put 1 1/2" wide metal strips across the center... Kinda like the RBP grilles.

Awesome thanks man! I will go on my lunch break and look for that. Is 24" x 24" big enough to cover the grille?

Ok nvm, sorry disregard Just read your underlined sentence saying this was just a little bit smaller. I will still look to see if they have anything bigger
