Keyless entry code? Where do I find it?

On my old 2006 F-150 it was on the computer brain behind the back seat. Where should I look for it in the F-250?? Any ideas?

On my 05 I had to get a mirror and look behind the dash on the firewall. There is a plate with a number on it and that is the door code. I researched it on the internet and it showed an actual picture but now I cant find it.

I just went to the dealer for mine, the service writer plugged his computer into my truck and retrieved it for me. No charge.

I have a 05 Excursion and I had to lay on my back on the drivers side floor. I looked up behind the dash, behind the radio, there is a black box that has some white foam wrap around it. I used an extension mirror between the foam and the box, you'll see a whtie label with black numbers on it. It helps to have an extra person who can write down what you see. You may have to figure it out cause it'll be upsidedown and or backwards. Hope this helps, love the org.

What da big one said, Get a flashlight and lay on your back and look up towards the radio on the firewall. You may have to move some white insulation to be able to see the box and numbers

if you can't find it there is a way to program your own. i read it in the manual. the factory caode is always programed and active but you can put your own in there. i research it because my old trucks code was 05432.. it seemed a little generic so i naturally thought you had to put your own code in. turned out it was just a coinsidence. anyway hope it helps.

I believe the way valetcruiser suggested you will need to have the current code in order to program a new code.
