Vinyl graphic glue residue removal?

When I bought my truck it had some vinyl decals on both sides of it. I removed them yesterday, but it left a glue residue around the perimeter of each of the decals. Whats the best way to remove it without hurting the paint? I heard carb cleaner works great? Is that safe?

Thanks

Stay away from carb or brake cleaner, I used wd-40 and a good soft towel.

A heat gun or hairdryer and a little rubbing will take it off.

Use Zippo lighter fluid. Takes it right off and does not harm the paint. It is printed right on the bottle.:thumb:

i think i have used w-d 40 before. try it in a spot that wont be that visible to see if it messes up your paint.

Goo Gone - stuff works awsome, and very safe for paint.
