Black exhaust tip

Ok, I was fed up with the ugly factory exhaust tip, but wasn't interested in buying a DPF back kit purely for looks. I did a little research and found a great custom exhaust shop in Fort Worth, TX. 6" Tip S/S powder coated black. Welded on and looks absolutely clean and factory! Highly recommend Kinney's Muffler Shop for those of you from North Texas.

Your's looks great!

Just for anyone else's info, you can take your own exhaust tip down to a powdwercoating shop and have it done!

Mine was polished stainless steel and I got tired of cleaning the soot stains off of it all the time so I had it powdercoated black. I like the look much better!!!

You can see it in this pic:

I have a 5" high gloss black on mine. Love it, but It's hard to keep clean. Most of the time it looks flat black with all the dirt on it and stuff. Gonna go to duals probably, and get two 6"x12" high gloss black tips.

Looks good. I'm planning to paint mine using caliper paint, but I think I will powder coat it instead.

Black tips are definitely the way to go. They look a lot nicer then chrome and stand up the elements a lot better. Plus your not having to constantly clean the soot off them since it blends right in I have a MBRP 5" on my turbo back and love it.
