Tire size question?

Hey everybody! So i was just browsing on craigslist and came upon a great deal of 39.5x15x16.5 super swamper tsl! I do alot of highway driving but it'd be nice to have an extra set of wheels and mud tires for my weekend fun. I have an 04 f350 xlt 4x4 stock suspension. How much lift would i have to put on for those bad boys to fit? Thanks!

at least a 4" if those wheels are the perfect offset, a 6" is more likely though and again that's only with the correct offset wheel. They'd have to be a super deal for me to grab them, you'll find that 16.5 tires are pretty much obselete now with the exception of swampers/military tires...and they're mucho dinero $$$$$

OTOH though, welcome to the Org!

Those are almost 40s. You'd need probably 10"s.
4"= 35s
6"= 37s
8"= 38s
10= 40s
Give or take of course
