08 tinted taillights

I just bought some taillights from a 2012. I want to get them tinted. I was wanting to see what they would look like and how you had them done. I've been to 2 places and one said they would have to spay them but wanted $200 and the other place wanted $100 to do a film. Which is better the film or to have it sprayed? Pics please

You can get the vht spray tint and do them yourself that's what I did. Although the other picture looks awesome also they have a bit more shine.
