remote fobs not working

Hoping this is the right place to ask. Thursday night, remote worked. Friday morning I've got nothing. Tried my spare, still nothing. Doorpad works and so does power lock switch. Batteries are good. Receiver fried? Is there a relay or fuse I should be looking for? Or did the truck stop recognizing the remotes. Any way to reprogram, or is it back to the dealer?
Thanks

Jim

I'm not sure if it's the same for Fords as it is for BMWs but when the FOB for my BMW quit working I had to buy a new FM receiver. Of course that was after troubleshooting

Did the 2 buttons together for 5 seconds earlier today. Worked on one remote, tried the other when I got home, no go. Cycled the key 8 times, took a couple tries but got it. Thanks to everybody for the help.
