I got pulled over for my tint... It measured 14% and you cant tell a difference between the front and the back....So im guessin the back is around the 15% area

It may depend on your state laws. I do tinting on the side and have 20% but I have been busted a couple of times for the darkness. Most states have laws of 35% max. But the darker looks better. I have 5% on top of my stock on the rear doors and rear slider.
My wife's car (not a ford but a trailblazer SS) I have 5% all the way around looks awsome

i guess its a misdemeanor here for them to put anything darker than 43% on the front, also he said they are looking real hard at window tint percentages when people are due for their safety inspection. i was looking at getting like 20% or 30% but not sure what ill do now.

Hey Rob, I'm down in Salt Lake and when I was getting my old truck inspected this year the lady in front of me got failed for her tint. She said she bought it from the dealer tinted. He said they have been coming down really hard on window tint so he couldn't pass her.

they put 25 on mine to matc the back, im getting them darkened all the way around, if they will only go to 43 you might as well not even waste your time and money go to a private shop. you wont even be able to tell that they tinted them at that percentage. tint is my biggest pepeve and its the first thing i do to every vehicle i get, i would recommend 15-20 all the way around. that till look sweet.
