Is my truck lifted?
Here's some pics of my truck and suspension... It looks high, but I guess it could be stock... Any ideas?
The reason I'm asking is that I just bought 20's with a -25 offset, and 35x12.50's, so I want to pull the trigger on a Tuff Country 5" lift kit, but I don't want to be replacing parts if I don't have to Also do I have factory overloads? Thanks! |

You've at least got a leveling kit in front and it looks like air bags in the rear. I cant tell if those are factory blocks. You might have 3" blocks in the rear and an added leaf up front.
Sorry, can't tell any more from those pics. Dave |

Your truck does look like it sits high in the front, could be an add a leaf. My truck only had two leaves in the pac. As far as your question about factory overloads, I havent seen any on other trucks but your certainly looks like a factory install.

its leveled but not lifted.... the air bags are there because they didn't want it to sag in the back when loaded after they got the leveling kit done. i did the same thing to mine but without the airbags. i just had aaa spring add a leaf to level it so now theres three up front. and it looks more lifted cuz thems stock tires

Do you guys think I should still go with the 5" lift? I definitely want to get some hellwig sway bars because my front bushings are shot anyways...

as long as you can afford it. they look pretty decent in my opinion. but u gotta factor in things like more expensive tire replacement, drop in fuel economy, more maintenance.... well i guess that depends on if your lifting for looks or for offroading. but theres more than just the original price tag....as it is with most anything..... if you got the $$ i say go for it it.

Yeah, I already bought 20x10 American Racing wheels and 35x12.50 Nitto Mud Grapplers hehe. I'm just thinking if I don't need the lift, maybe I don't need to spend the money now...

You have a lift for sure. Air bags in the rear, possible block lift in the rear. Before you buy that 5 inch kit. Get the tires and rims, put them on the truck. By the way it looks you should have no problem clearing those 35 inch tires.
