Recon Mirror Lights

Just got done putting them on my truck. Got the smoke lens. Heard a lot of horror stories about install and fittment issues, so I was pretty scared. I would give fittment 8 out of 10 beacause I have to really work it in the cover to get it to fit nice. It doesnt just snap in. Installation 2 out of 10. I broke a clip in each mirror . I had to take each cover off twice to adjust it and make it look ok. They look good if you get them in there right. It didnt help that its in the lower 20s here and the plastic didnt have much flex before it snapped. Should have waited til summer to put them in. Does anyone know if Ford sells just the cover piece or do you have to get the whole mirror? Ill get pics soon.

Suggestion to recon...
Get rid of the wires and just have the plug mounted inside the light like Ford does.
