rear window fitment question

so ive searched and couldnt find an answer so its time to ask the .org... i noticed on the 08 and newer trucks that the rear window sits flush to the cab, whereas my year of truck, 06, there is a molding going from the cab to the window and sticks out a half inch or so. my question is whether or not i can make my rear window sit like the newer trucks, looks better/cleaner IMO. also want an electric sliding rear window, how hard is it to fit onto a truck that didnt come factory with it, as in what do i need? its an extended cab if it matters. thanks for the help guys

rear window fitment question

I think the power rear windows built into the rear of the cab.

the 08 is glued in like your front vs held in via molding that wraps the sheet metal on the 07 under
and will leave your inner trim looking unfinished on your truck

We have a member who did it and by the time He realized they were different styles He gave it a shot then sold His truck LOL
