anyone know whats involved in replacing a 2004 grill and headlights with the 05-07 models

if you don't want to trim the bottom of the 05-07 grill, you need the 05-07 bumper and upper pad also -- which will also change your fog lights and you will need the new bumper mounting brackets..

the headlights will require you to either cut your existing header panel behind each light or to put on the 05-07 header panels and either way, you'll need the pigtails for the 05-07 lights to change out...

Im actually going to my cousins junk yard this weekend to get a grill out and headlights from a 06 f250 to put on my truck. Any know how much modification I will have to be doing?

without the bumper to go with it, ALOT of trimming is involved. The header panel from the donor truck will make life easier too, get it if you can.

Just bought mine from mkm customs on ebay. $299 plus $38 to have it painted black. that's also an option

I just swapped in an 05 grille and bumper and the bumper mounts to the exact same holes as the old bumper. The new one has brackets coming off of each side that look like they mount to existing bolts on the sides of the frame rail, but I haven't attached them yet and it looks like it will be ok.
