Stock Tires

Last week I was online looking at tires, and decided to look up the stock tires on my F250 to see how they rated. I was shocked to find out the the BFG Rugged Trail T/A is rated so poorly. I had always found most BFG tires to have a really good rating, but I've never tried this one before. I was wondering if anyone would know how they fare in the snow, very wet roads, dirt, etc. And whether I should change them out before winter time. In NY the winters can be bad at times, and if there is a heavy snowstorm, I want tires that I can count on.
Thanks.

stock tires

even though they are bfg there rated towards the bottom end, usually factory vechs. come with some plain jane tires that wear out quick.
there good for the dry hiway but thats about it (imo)
i wouild imagine that the customer ratings on tirerack are pretty accurate.

Well after reading through a bunch of the reviews, I think these tires are worthy of a proper eval period. Maybe they'll turn out to be decent in the snow, I'll wait until snow season to give them a real test if they don't fair well, i'll have to get something else.
