LED light replacements

Hey everyone,

I tried searching the forums, but i think my phone is retarded... It couldnt find anything. I have a reverse light out, and was thinking i want to start replacinh my bulbs with LEDs, mainly reverse lamps, tail lights, turn sigba, 3rd brake, fog lights, and cab clearance lights. Then also some interior bulbs as well.

Do they make direct replacements? Do i need special relays or anything along the lines of that to run LEDs? Are they actually brighter? Has anyone done this? And how does it look? And lastly, where can i find LED replacement bulbs? ( i know about recon)

I bought my interior cab lights at a truck stop the have tons of sizes in led

How did those work out? Are they nice and bright? Or a nuance in the cab while driving? I was considering the dome lights also.

I put Blue ones in and they werent as bright but that was what i wanted I left the map lights clear for when i needed light

i have hid headlights and fog lights and led everything else besides the brake lights. yes they are brighter and more of a pure white light vs the yellowish lights. all of them have been plug n play except the front turn signals needed a resister.

Thanks Lee, that helps alot! I might go that route.

My next thought is my roof clearance lights. I want to switch to smoked clear lens, would i need to get amber leds?

i got all my leds off vleds.com and ebay. the only down side is you will have to wire in resistors on the turn signals to restore factory blink speed.
