Got me some clearance lights today

My wife got me an early Birthday present! Ready to start drilling,but it will have to wait until after our camping trip this weekend.

buddy of mine had a dodge and went and bought lights. pulled the headliner back and just about had a bird. 8 million wires. he ended up taking it to the dealers.

^^ it's nothing like that. I've done cab lights on 7 Super Duties now. It's a piece of cake. Don't let these guys intimidate you. The first 1/8" pilot hole is the hardest. MEASURE MEASURE MEASURE.

I'm not worried, I've done way more stupid things than drilling a few holes in some sheet metal, this should be a piece of cake.

So here is a question. Every write up I have seen says measure a million times. Doesn't anyone have a pattern that thay can just lay down?

I can always fill the holes with some ugly welds and repaint, maybe black? Ha

The pattern idea would be nice.
