2008 + mirrors

Was wondering if anyone knows if the outside mirrors have the same plug from 2006 and up? Found some 2008 mirrors & want to put them on my 2006. Thanks guys

No they don't, when i did mine i had to cut the plug off of the stock 2007 mirrors and splice them on to the 2008. its fairly straight forward, the wires are the same colors on the 2008 mirror as the stock mirror. good luck

They do to make the ones that are direct plug and play. I have a set on my truck and they work amazing..... However they do not however have power extend or power fold options

This sounds like a good sell here. Smoked lenses and direct plug and play. How can you beat that? thanks for the info, going to look into them

I know they are out right now. They were out when I was looking at them too. Just have it set up to send you an email when they come in, then you have a few days to get them before they sell out again. Keep an eye on your email though.

Install is easy, everything matches up exactly. Only real words of wisdom i would have for you if you do go that route is make sure the skull caps get connected correctly. I had issues with my driverside one and it came off late one night as i was driving home from work and just disapeared >.<

On top of that, sell your old mirrors. I came out pretty good when I did my swap... new mirrors only ended up costing me about $50 or something like that
