Rims, Tires, Leveling Kit
I was wondering if i need a leveling kit to fit 20in KMC Rockstar Rims and 285/65/20 tires...thats the same size that coms on the factory 20's i think....Do the trucks that have 20's from factory already have a leveling kit from the factory? What leveling kit is the best? Thanks..

Tire size is what causes clearance issues not wheel size. Yes you'll be alright with the 285/65/20's you could even go with a 33x12.50 you dont need a leveling kit unless you want one. I think they're all the same some are plastics and some are metal go with which ever on you want if you do level it I recommend aftermarket shocks.

I think if you want to run that size tire you better go with the 20X8.5 cause if you get much wider you would want to get a bigger tire to go with it, then the next proablem is you will need to get a leveling kit cause they will start to rub things. Thats just my 2 cents.

I have 285/65/20 BFGs on my truck and it did rub slightly before I put the leveling kit on. Not real bad, but it's worth getting the extra clearance.
