fog lights?

i hate that you have to turn the lights on to run the fog lights. can i just splice into the wire on the park lights to turn the fogs on? has anyone done this with no problems blowin a fuse?

no fog lights bud sorry. but i dont think you would have much of an issue trying that.

My fogs on my 02 only came on with the low beams. But my 07 can come on with hlthe parking lights. I tried modded the older truck awhile back at the switch. It didnt work. But, just jumping the wire it should work as long as you leave all the relays in place.

This has been a big discussion for a while now -- no one has figured out how to yet on the '02 and earlier years

well im gonna give it a shot. im a master electrician but i suck when it comes to auto electrical. im sure if i get behind the switch and do some swapping, it should work. ill keep ya all posted.

well this sucks. i tried to figure out my fog lights to come on with the park lights. well i was messing around and now my fog lights dont work at all. i checked the fuses and there good. i checked at the fog light and no power. my instrument lights on the switch doesnt light up either. never fails, when i mess with my truck i usually mess somethin up. any ideas would be appreciated.

dang, that is sweet. I'm probly gonna do the Bright box and sell my KC's. I already did my Fog light mod ('07). so the fogs come on with just parking lights and stay on with Hi's. that along with the brite box... should be PLENTY.
