HID went out
I fired up the truck, and one of my HID bulbs is out, didnt know if anyone had any ideas to try, or best way to test it before spending money on new kit or bulbs.
Thanks in advance |

HID went out
I had the same thing happen to the driver's side hid on my truck. Turned out the crimp in the fuse holder was loose. Recrimped it and has worked since.

The best way to test is to swap the bulb that went out into the good side. If it still doesn't work, then the bulb is dead. If it does work on the other side, then the ballast or wiring may be dead. Last, put the "good" bulb into the side that went out. If the bulb comes on, then you know the "bad" bulb just died.

You'll eventually end up with lots of spare ballasts and bulbs like me. I've had like 6 sets of hids on my last two trucks. I'm always changing bulb colors or wattages or trying different companies.
