Recon mirror lights??

I just got the Recon smoked mirror lights. For everyone else who has them installed, how do they fit? I tried putting them in, and they looked really good, however I didn't like how they fit. I know they are aftermarket, and probably wouldn't fit like the factory ones do, but they were loose enough on the bottom side that when on you could see the lights from the back side behind the lenses. Just wondering if that's what other people have found out too.

they generally go in very smooth.. they shouldn't stick out at all... please take a pic of it... i can give you the email of my friend that works at Recon.... if it is a defect they will ship you out a new one...

Mine fit lick factory. Very smooth. You might not have it snaped in all the way or something. I would make sure all the wires are tucked in where they are supposed to be and make sure all the clips caught.

2 sets of Recon mirror lights for my '06 F350 later I am giving up!!!!

I had high hopes even had 2 friends who are much better wrenches than I am & both had the same poor fit issues as I did. The bottom of the lens does not snap completely into place and causes a gap at the bottom. One fit okay and one was junk.

I am looking for another manufacturer...any suggestions?

im not aware of anyone else making aftermarket lenses... if you want a smoked look you can always just buy some smoke spray for them or go to a tint shop and they can put some special tint that are made for lenses....

Mine are the same and I had to cut some wires to make them fit.

Mine fit perfectly like stock, I did have to try a couple of times to reposition the wire bundle, if its not in the right spot it will not snap all the way in.

i had the same exact issues. i was told that it was my truck that was the problem and not the lenses. i bought my first set, then Recon sent me 2 other sets and they all fit like crap.... i wont buy anything else from recon. it seems they have some issues in their quality control. i had to shim mine into place just to get them to fit like the stock lenses.i appreciate all your help in this Raul, but recons poor quality has left a bad impression on me.
