Updating fender and tailgate badges

I have a 2004 f250 and hate how the old faded badges I have look. I would like to put 05+ badges on the fenders and the tailgate but unsure if the 05+ badges will fit properly with the holes in the body. Is this swap easy or won't the holes line up?

Its easy just use some fishing line or an old credit card to get badge off then if you have a rubber wheel to get the excess glue off then apply. I think I used my fingers to roll the glue off one time also.

Not worried about taking them off, was just making sure that the 05+ badges would slot into the holes in the body just like the 99-04 badges do

They are adhesive so the holes are meaningless. They get covered up by the badge. The tailgate doesn't have the holes.
