How big of tire fits stock rim.

I have a 03 with a leveling kit with the stock 16inch rim. im looking to buy a set of 305/70/16 but i just want to make sure that their not too wide for my rim. Thank you.

they are wider than recommended , but it has been donw numerous times. towing would not be ideal but DD will be fine. it may feel squirmish due to side wall roll.

those tires are fine, my father runs them on his stock 04 no problem towing the 25ft carolina, decent fuel mileage and wear.

I run 35x12.5 Kuhmo MT's on my stock 17's.
I tow A LOT. Truck rides fine on the highway.
Only problem I have is in the center lane, the 18 wheelers "grooved" our highways, and the tires tend ride in the groove, and pull the truck around a little when towing.

I have stock 16's on my 03 and im not sure how wide they are.
