Mirror turn signal lenses

I've seen a thousand threads and have yet to find a definite answer.

How in the hell do you get the lenses covers off?

I was going to smoke mine but will now be replacing at least the drivers side.

Any help would be appreciated guys

Haven't done it myself, but read somewhere that you have to take the whole back of the mirror off to get the lens off. There are tabs behind the glass that you can access by adjusting the mirror to the extreme (up/down or left right) and then it comes off, but be very careful not to break the tabs.

I dont even remember how I replaced mine but I will tell you it's a SUM*****!! Played hell getting the OEM off and installing the Recon smoked ones but that was some 5 yrs ago........

I already broke the corner of one lense. Lol

So I can tell you how they do not come off

They're not that hard to get off,I googled how to do it and some good tips on how to do it.
