Weld Wheel question

I have a set of Weld Racing Forged Sandstorm wheels that I have neglected for the last year and I would like to bring the shine back to them. Problem is I don't know if they are the polished aluminum or the chromed aluminum.

They don't appear to have a clear coat on them, also the back of the wheel makes me believe they are just straight polished aluminum.

Any ideas?

Also what should I use to shine them back up?

Thanks

Dik

looks like polished aluminum to me. I would use a mothers power ball (it goes on the end of a cordless drill) and some of their polish. Will bring the shine right back. The more black the power ball gets the better. Thats the crap coming out of the aluminum. Once you get them looking good put a good polish on them. I can't remember the name of the stuff i use, it has a blue cap. It also has silicon in it. This way I only polish once a year. A simple wash with meiguers hot rims ( a cleaner u spray on and wipe off) works wonders.
