Fender Flare Problem
So I decided to remove the factory chrome fender flares off my 2003 F350 today. They came off smooth and they were only held on via a few metal "straps". My problem is that the two front ones left behind black/dark lines where they used to be. You can definitely tell that there were fender flares on there previously. I've bought a detailing clay kit and it didn't do much the two hours that I used it. Any ideas on what I can do to get the lines to go away? They seem to be flush with the body (not adhesive). I can try to get pics up tomorrow while the sun is out.

Yeah, use a cutting compound like Macguires diamond cut then finish it with a fine polish and lastly a good carnuba wax.
