aftermarket 08 tails w/extra light

My first post guys. I bought the cheap aftermarket ebay 08 tails they are eagle eyes brand. when I opened the box the bottom reflector had a vent hole in it. I went in the garage and got some old taillight harnesses. I had to change the reverse light anyway. so I added a running light off the taillight harness. It gives the light a little more size when dark I wish it had been large enough for another brake light but this will do.Try not to look at the ugly bumper or the beat up tailgate. I have a new tailgate and a nice bumper just haven't put them on yet . tell me what you think.

Looks good. My OEM 08 tail lights have a small hole where you're talking about. It's got some sort of heavy duty sticker over it. I've thought about trying to take it off and put a light in there like you did

hey Eric, ya thats what mine had too kinda of a screen type sticker , I dilled it larger and put a light in

my factory 08s have the same hole. maybe they are there for work trucks to put strobes in?

Mine too , I started a thread a month or so ago but didn't get any play . I thought about adding a single led in the hole tied in to the parking light like you did ,looks good

thanks guys. When I opened the box ,I didn't understand why they would make it like that and then not put a light in. Looks like they intended to put a light there.
