Advice on styling

Looking for some advice on some exterior accessories for my truck. Looking at it from the rear i feel like it has too much going on between the red from the lights the orange from the cab lights and the orange pinstripe/flames and the black color of the truck. I was thinking of getting rid of the "see ya" on the tailgate. The previous owner had it painted on along with the flames on the doors and around the emblems, I don't mind the flames that much but the "see ya" sorta ruins the mean and blacked out look i was going for. Anyone have any idea if a body-shop would be able to take it off without repainting the whole tailgate. I was thinking of going Recon smoked cab lights and tail lights along with a smoked third brake light to replace the discolored original one i have on it and i thought it went better with the darker stock HD headlights. Any suggestions?

The 'See ya' and some of the other flames I bet are stickers. Heat them up with a hair dryer or heat gun and peel away. My tailgate had a stupid dealer sticker on it and all it took was some heat. Good luck!

You could wet sand it off and then buff it back. It just depends on your confidence level. You would have to be super careful not to sand into the original, factory clearcoat. I guess if you did, then you end up where you are now... contacting a body shop for a touch up.
good luck!

smoked L.E.D. third light, smoked L.E.D. tail lights, and smoked cab light covers

And I agree, wet sand the "see ya" out and buff... you MIGHT have to get it clear coated after sanding though... still better then repainting it all!

I wouldn't waste money on recon. Go on ebay and get a paid for $100 with as good or better quality then recon.

Smoked on black imo

I agree with the smoked lights on a black truck. I have a smoked recon 3rd brake light and went with OEM 08 tail lights on mine, and it made a world of difference. Then again, my truck is bright @$$ orange
Here you can see the 3rd brake light
