lifted f350 drop ball hitch

I have a 2004 F350 king Ranch with a 6.5" lift and 37" toy's. I want to tow a trailer but Im not sure how much of a drop i need. my local trailer guy say's 18-22" is the average trailer height so I would need around a 12" drop, which would put me at 20" trailer height. My truck has the factory tow package but i need a drop receiver. Just wondering if any body with a lifted f350 can let me know what they use I would appreciate it. Thanks

I have 7" in the front and 2" lift in the rear, sits level and i use a 8" drop for almost everything. 12" seems a liitle long.

well I'm not 100% sure. He measure from the ground to my reliever and said it was 29 1/2" and he says in order for the trailer to sit around 18-20" i would need roughly a 12" drop. I'm not really sure and the adjustable ones only go to a max of 10" drop. what brand is yours? Thanks for the info

Truck will squat some as well right and the adjustable ones are way cooler. Just go with adjustable 10 inch drop

My gas obs is up 7" on 37s, i use a 14" drop solid tube hitch I got on ebay. Trailer still sits up in the front unloaded, I have 4 trailers I haul and they're all about the same.
Oh, but I have a custom receiver mount in the center of my roll pan so that makes a larger drop hitch necessary.
