Are you look for a replacement for the stock tank, an auxiliary tank for the bed, or possibly a tank to mount in place of the spare tire?
Titan Fuel Tanks Has tanks of various sizes that are replacements for the stock tank. Several companies have bed mounted aux tanks. Some of those come with integrated toolboxes. Personally, I'm looking for a toolbox-tank combo that will fit underneath a DiamondBackHD cover and is 2ft wide or less. |

ya i saw that too i was just hoping it was a mistake. I drive over 600 miles a week on a lite week of driving so i was hoping that i would find one around 5 to save the time. But 900 is alot of frostys to drop on the 30 mins it takes to fill up twice a week.

I don’t know if the 6.0 is the same design but when I did the tank mods on my truck I gained an extra 7-8 gallons on every fillup (over 100 miles) and it will now fill all the way to the top without splashing back or kicking off on me. Cutting the pipes off in the tank is a free mod but I highly recommend spending about $35 and doing all the intank and prepump mods while you’re at it, then you can run much closer to empty without sucking in air and you can fill up anywhere with less of a worry about contamination ruining $2500 injectors. I also keep a 5 gallon can in the bed so I can get braver and run the tank lower. Look at my picture link under fuel system to see how mine works. Again the 6.0 may be different.

Here are a few:
TitanFuelTanks Aluminum Fuel Tanks Aftermarket and OEM Fuel Tank Systems AeroTanks-we specialize in auxiliary fuel tanks. www.northertool.com ATTB - Auxiliary Fuel Tanks I personally went with an RDS 50 gallon fuel/toolbox combo from Northerntool. I am still able to use my slider hitch and hard folding taneau cover with it. Last edited by wpzone; 10-01-2007 at 03:04 PM. |
