New Grille

Anyone know if a grille from an 05 or newer will fit an 03? I love the 05's much better but cant justify buying a new truck to get a grille

yep ebay's got 'em about $300 I think. I just hacked the crap outta one tryin' to get it to fit, but I ended up just doing the whole conversion....$300 sounds like a lot of cash, but worth vs. doing ot yourself...well at least if your ME it is...LOL

I got a new 06 grill for free, took a little time, somewhat of a hack job and a little filing and got it in. About all it requires is cutting 1 and 1/2 inch from the bottom, including cutting off the bottom retaining clips that hold it in. Give me a little time I will try to take pictures. I wanted the newer grill, just did not want to spend the bucks for the complete kit. I got lucky and got a new grill that had damage on the lower left corner, below the line where I had to cut. Kind of easy to practice on something you did not have to pay for. Did the man thing, beat on my chest and proclaimed I am the greatest when done.

All you have to do is cut some off the bottom like 014 said... to match your bumper because the newer bumpers are shorter and the grill taller..

I have an '05 grill on my '02...the entire bumper and grill assembly were changed. You can see it in the avatar, or I can send you a couple pics if you prefer. Good luck.

Jeff
