I know this is an old thread but i just wanted to say i used your template to cut for the '05+ lights and it worked great. They fit like stock!

I put '05 Harley lights in my '02 so i had to buy a conversion harness. I got mine from Stealth automotive but DFuser and others have them also.

Mine are snug and dont move at all. You use the original bottom bolts that held in the turn signal on the '99-04 lights and then on the top the header panel already has holes for using stock hardware so they essentially bolt in like they were meant to be there.

don't want to go around draging up old threads BUT...

I started looking for information on changing headlights on the truck I just got. Imagine the luck that a Google search landed me right back here at POWERSTROKE.org!!!

Anyway, I was going over the stuff on the dfuser site...

It lead me to wonder WHAT exactly is it I need for my truck as far as wiring is concerned?

I am thinking about going with the Harley Davidson lights but don't know which harness items are required for my 2001 PSD F350.

Any help?

I would go look at what the truck actually HAS normally, but it is at home and I am half a world away for some amount of months yet!

Thanks, Kit

It should be the wiring harness that label 9007 to 9008. I used the the heavy harness that includes relays to up the power going to the lights.
