headlight bulbs

my stock headlights are nice but they arent very bright. i've never bought replacment bulbs before so i'm not sure what to buy. anyone else using aftermarket bulbs? something bright.

I don't know about bulb's, But if you need more light you can try "The Bright Box" from Geno's Garage(in sponser section)

It turns on the Brights and Normal lights at the same time. Without burning out your Mulit Function Switch.

i run the xenon bulbs i have on my website.... they are much brighter than stockers and so far have had them on my truck for over a year with no problem... here is a link Stealth Automotive LITECH Xenon Charged Headlight/Fog LIght Combo (05-07 Super Duty)

i use the the Sylvania hids they are pricey but bright as hell i get flashed with my low beams on i also have different head lights.

I've been running Sylvania Silverstars, give a lot more light and are legal...

you can go replacement bulbs but i doubt you will get the results you are looking for, i would replace the entire assembly like willypscustoms did, then they will be really bright. the stock headlights just cant do what a good set of clear HID's will.

I got the newest silverstars, like $50 a set., I noticed brighter and whiter light. DOT is strict + yearly inspection they check if they are legal. The newest silverstars I think aare a little brighter then the predecessor, not alot.

I love my HIDs. I have them in with the factory housing. Works great and get people flashing me all the time because they are so bringt. They are set correctly too by the way.
