Powerstroke badge removal

Are there tabs behind these badges, that would leave holes in my door? I don't think there are because of the harley editions with just stickers. Looks like it's just the "super crazy sticky automotive glue" or whatever it's technically called. I'll be taking them off to go into stealth mode... or maybe, I have other plans. hmmmm

I looked at getting some new badges online and they all looked like stickons and I couldnt see any pins on the back of them that would protrude into the door so I think you are good to go! I do think however that the F-250 fender badges have one or two pins that stick into the fender.

i know the fender badges have them, because i replaced my factory "peeling" badges with new ones from warranty. I might be doing it soon. We'll see. It sucks getting the gum off the body, but i'll just need some elbow grease and patience.

There are holes behind the badges, the holes are there for aligning purposes.
The factory badges are junk.....4th set and they are peeling.

On my '03 the Powerstroke badges on the doors did not have any holes behind them, just the F-250 badges on the fenders and tailgate.

Only the badges on the fender have the tabs. The ones on the door DO NOT have them.

i cant imagine why you would want to take them off unless you are having issues with them. i think they look super nice but that is JMO!

I've got 6.0 Turbo Diesel stickers on my hood and a cool V-8 Powerstroke badge where the gassers' have their V-8 and V-10 badges. It looks cool but I want to de-badge the OEM badges so it doesn't look so cluttered.
