Winch mount options

I need to add a winch to my truck. It will either be a warn power plant or a M12000. So any pics of what yall have done would be helpful in my decision. Thanks in advance

I dont really like the hidden mounts Warn offers. I have sold a few, but it makes the front bumper stick way the he!! out. Warns superduty winch bumper looks good but is very expensive. I have only sold one of those. I like the RoadArmour bumpers myself. We are doing an install on one next week on a white 07. He is having it powder coated white. Going to put a M15000 behind it. I think it will be here monday or tuesday. I have another local guy that put our last M15000 on the front of his goose neck for his pulling truck. They are awesome. I'm sure the M12000 would have been plenty but this guy is Mr. Overkill.

Thanks. That was the only thing I miss about the Dodge was how well the winch was hidden.
'I have seen a superduty with the warn hidden mount. I dont like it either. The TBILT mounts look different but I want to see better pics.

They are not the best looking, but I think it is very practical. Get a receiver put on the front of the trucks, and get one of the receiver mount winches. That way you can pull from either direction if need be. Might be something to think about.

Yeah I had definately thought about that. But my only concern there is if a receiver will hold up to a 12000 pound dead pull. I know they can tow that much but a dead pull is a lot harder. And we are also talking about something that gets used atleast once a week. I dont get stuck that much, I pull trees over and get my dumptruck stuck sometimes

I want to add a wench mount to my truck. My buddy is a welder so we are going to do a custom front bumper replacement on my truck, I'll put pictures up when ever that gets done, and don't expect them to be any time soon. I don't get my truck till the fourth. Anyways I plan on putting a hidden mount in it for a wench, why so I can blow 2,000 bucks on something I won't use .

Put us some pictures up of a reciever hitch in the front. Sam's club has a 12K winch that is receiver mounted that would work great for that application.
