08 tailgate on 03?

this would be sweet with the superduty embedded in the tailgate and the styling on the 08's...i would think it would be the same size and fit..maybe swap over the latch and strikers?

anyone wanna try it n take pics?

As soon as I can find one wrecked with the pull out step you can believe it will be on LilRed.

I'm 2nd in line after LilRed. I've been wanting to do it since I saw it! Looks a whole lot better than the "f150 leftover" tailgates they used on our rigs.

Wasn't this on another post- about the tailgate being hit by the trailer adn the end result was diamond tread alum because of the cost new- 1800 seems to ring a bell...
I told my brother to look for one in the scrap pile at KY truck when he called me from there last week- he laughed... so it sounds like its do-able!
I'd love to grab one of them too!

Will an 08 fit an 06? Or would I need to change all the hardware first? That would be a cooool look and make a few people wonder...

Yah - rear end of the 08's is very similar to the rear's of the 99 forward... even the taillamps will fit..
