Installed X Code Front Springs w/pics
So I ordered the X codes and had them installed at the dealer due to me not having the time or the space (I am on leave from Iraq).
After the install the front twas lifted close to 2 inches but after putting 500 miles on it it seems to have settled to about and inch and a quarter. The rear measures 27" from the center of the axle to the wheel well and the front now measures 24.5" from the center of the axle to the wheel well. I didn't get pre-install measurements but I can see on the shocks about how much it was lifted. But I would like to get measurements from someone who has not lifted there rig just for my curiousity. I also plan to put the 285's back when I return from my deployment.....hate these small tires. Before: ![]() and after: ![]() Let me know what you guys think. I went this route since I like having a rake but needed a tiny bit of lift. Thad |

How much did they charge you for the X-codes?

I honestly dont remember and I entered the info in my computer that is back stateside so I dont have access to it.
In retrospect I wish I would have just done a regular lift but this gained me just over an inch and should do what I need. Its a good remedy for sagging springs or if you do not want to lift the rig too much. Here are some more pictures: ![]() ![]() Thad |

Its not too bad. I really hadnt driven it in 8 months prior to driving it with the new springs so its hard to tell.
