Rear door handle on front door?

Thieves smashed in my passenger side door lock and since I don't use the key hole anyway will the rear door handle without the keyhole work on the front door?

it's actually not the handle you would use...but it is possible to use it. if you wanted to use the correct door handle you would order the door handle off of an excursion....they have no passenger side key hole( or at least that's how I ordered mine ).

I know on mine it was the rear door handle assembly they ordered and used to replace my front. I would think it would be the same for yours. The dealer also ran a wire from hood latch to under the truck for me incase batteries were to ever get so bad the locks would not work. Just tug on the wire to open hood to access batteries. Although i never see that being a problem i guess its good to have a back up.
