Another Windshield

I recently had to have new rotors put on my truck at only 10,000 miles. When I went to pick my truck up my windshield was busted. No problem, the dealership put a new windshield in and when I went to pick it up this time my seat was scratched. Well the dealership had my leather seat repaired, cant tell it was even messed up. Well today I had to call into work b/c my mother in law/babysitter was in the hospital. I figured I would be nice and take the kids to the park and let them play. Well that went over well but on the way home, CRACK, another big ole crack in my windshield. On top of that I had just got my windows tinted and had the front strip put on the last time, so I had to buy another strip. Now, my insurance tells me that they only allow 1 windshield claim a year so I'll have to buy a windshield and pay for another front strip. O.K. I'm threw complaining now. Man I can't get a break.

Yep, exactly what I'm gonna do, unless it runs in my view.

Take a screw driver and scratch a line at the end of the run, if it doesnt stop sometimes you can turn it.

Maybe on your next windsheild, try getting the whole thing tinted. Might help hold it together better. I know when I hit my rear window with my gooseneck trailer, my tint held the window together. On my truck I have a 5% strip up top, and 50% running down the whole windsheild, no glare at all, and it may just help keep your windsheild from cracking.
