kelderman air suspension

Does anyone know anything about these? They replace all of the leafs with air bags and bilsteins. I am wondering what happens if one of the air bags blows. I am looking at this for my truck only a 5-6 ing lift though, only because I tow. Anyone have any input.

Yeah, they cost a whole lot of money. All the ones I have seen are some where in the price range of $10-15k. Too rich for this ole boy

You would be better off with a good spring kit, and some bags in the back. You will have no problems even with a 5th wheel with a 4" kit.

I agree it is tooooo expensive. I don't think you'd have a problem with a bag blowing though. they are some heavy duty rubber air bags.

Who makes a good spring kit? I know that I want to put bilsteins on the truck, but need to get rid of these factory leafs, they are way too rough ridin' around in the truck all day.

Those airbags are made from the same materials as those used in semis and dump trucks. With as much as 60,000 lbs resting on 6 airbags on a dump truck airbags rarely fail. Unless it got sliced by something, I would bet that you couldn't burst one even if you lauched a pickup 5 feet in the air!

Yes all these guys are right on the kelderman lift yes it is a cool lift but you can't do to much off road with it I personaly think it's only good for ,say a show truck.A buddy of mine has one on his 250 but it's highly and I do mean highly modified.Total in to lift is about 30 grand but he has the money he's also got 54" tires on it.Cool lookin but I asked him what if one of the air bags blows and he said I don't know has'nt happened yet.I am pretty sure the tires will tear the he;;; out of the truck. So I say unless you got about 15 20 grand laying around it aint worth the money.there are alot of great venders on this sight that will hook you up with a great spring lift for a fraction of that price.
