Touch Pad Replacement

One of the buttons on my keyless entry touch pad is worn out. Is it possible to replace just one button or do you have to replace it all? And is it easily replaced? Any info would be great. Thanks.. Marshall

Thanks...Pretty much figured that. Do you know how hard it is to change out? Does it "pop" out and unplug or do you have to take the inside door panel off?

The door panels are actually really easy to remove. Theres a few screws, remove the window & door controls and pull off the panel. Its not bad at all.

Sounds to me like you are being lazy. I can take my door panel off in about a minute. Basically 2 screws hold it on along with slide tabs. As losrocket said, there is nothing to it.

You could call it that I guess.. I've taken my door panels off on my last Super Duty and know what it takes.. Each time it seems like at least one of the nylon fasteners bend or break in the process.. And each time you pop out the switch panel it wears on those clips.. Yes, these are excuses, but matter enough not to want to go through it for a couple worn off numbers on the key pad.. If it didn't work or totally blank, I would change it...

I appreciate the info on the price and how its removed..
