keyless entry pad question

I have a keyless entry pad on my truck and it wont lock my driverside door. I can lock my passenger side door, and unlock both, but wont lock the driverside door. My key fob will lock and unlock both doors. Is there some trick to this that Im not understanding?

Check the steering column make sure the key lock is working ok. I know if you leave the key in the ign. it wont lock the drivers door. Like if carwash or parking valet can not lock the keys in the car with one in the ign. Hope it helps.

Must be nice to have access to a lift. I still need to drop my 350sbc in my cj as well. Hope to have it in there by the end of the week.
