Fog light over ride on Canadian 2007

Thought I'd try the fog light over ride on my 07 F250 eventhough the link said it wouldn't work on Canadian trucks with DRLs. Well, I followed the instructions exactly and what do you know, it works

Hey guy's, any other Canadians having luck getting this mod to work? I've got an '05 and would love to have high beams and fog lights on when I'm off road.

Thanks,
Phil

I did this mod on my 05 about 2 years ago and Ive never had a problem. I already had my DRL's disabled when I did the mod though.

Thanks, gives me some hope. Did you just pull the fuse to kill the DRL's?

I just tried putting on my fog lights with my running lights and DRL's on, and the fog lights work, so i'm guessing its an entirely different circuit than high beams, although I believe the DRL's use the high beam lights, just not at full power. Wondering if I can keep the DRL's. Guess I'll find out when I get a chance try the mod.

thanks,
Phil
