Recon Mirror Lense installation.
Ok, so I bought some Smoked Recon Mirror Lenses off Strokin6Liters on this site,(thanks again) and got them this morning. I'm in the process of installing them, but I ran into a problem. I can't seem to be able to fit all the wires and the black adapter in behind the cover. Where exactly did you put your wires?

Nevermind. I got them in.

I am thinking of the same thing, do you have pictures of the results?

I'll take some tomorrow morning. I also took some before pics, I'll post those too. They sure look better than the amber ones, I added smoked roof lenses as well. All I need now are some fender lights but $100 is a little too much for 4 tiny pieces of plastic.

I'm not far behind you. I just added the LED roof lights smoked, which look great on a black truck. My kids actually told me that the "Amber on the mirrors is ugly" and I need to do something about it.

Oh man, your kids said they were ugly? I just installed my clear roof lenses yesterday morning. My passenger mirror is somewhat broken from when I bought the truck, so Im trying to track down a new mirror right now before I install the lenses.
How does the mirror come apart anyways? |

I just installed mine today. The first side was a pain in the ***. I broke the bottom toggle mirror and only after coming in the house and screaming in a pillow I finished the first mirror in a lightening fast (Not Really) 45 min. Then after the learning process was over for the first mirror I did the second mirror in about 15 min. I did have to trim both bottom corners so they would fit snug like the OEM lense.

That sucks, luckily I didn't break anything. What part of the lense did you trim? All I did was slide some cardboard pieces behind the little clip that holds the lense in place so that it pulls it in closer to the cover.

The bottom corner that slides in first. I used a dremel to shave the outside edge off. It doesn't take much. For some reason if you look the trim of the mirror has a lip that doesn't match up with the frame where its inserted.

Anybody know where I can buy the lower convex mirror for the passenger side?
