Quick Mirror Question

A buddy has a 2006 with the paddle mirrors and wants to upgrade to the tow mirrors with power heat and lights that came on most of the trucks. He has a fully loaded lariat but got jipped on the mirrors The ones he has are power but have nothing else in them. If he gets the power heated lighted mirrors for an 06 is there any wiring that needs to be done or will everything plug and play?

My understanding is that it is plug and play. You just need to order the mirrors with the 06 plug and the plug from the factory has the capability for the lights as well. Ford did not change plugs on the line for different mirrors. Same plug for all. Hope this helps.
