Rust bubbles on rear fender wells already!!!

Wow I have a 2006 Ford f250 and noticed that I have 2 bubbles on my driver side rear wheel well and 1 on the passenger side!...this is down right frustrating that Ford still after all these years has not fixed this eminent problem..I know the rust is goinna pop through I'm guessig by next summer and I take care of this truck so well..anyway anyone else out there with rust already?..oh yeah and I have like a rust bubble on every door by the windows..haha yea not too excited about a paintjob already on a truck 4 hrs old

ive got an 07 ext cab 19,000 miles rear bumper starting to rust! i love ford but cmonnnnnnnnnnnnnnn lol

Yeah, I had the same problem with my 2006. There is a seam where moisture lays and rust forms from the inside out. I took mine to a body guy who cleaned out all of the rust and filled the seam with some sort of hard non water permeable compound and re painted the lip on the fenders. My 04 does not have a single speck of rust anywhere. It really is hit or miss with Ford trucks in every respect.

Can you tell us about how much that cost?

For everything including the paint work: $350.00. I thought it was money well spent.

put some chrome fender trim on it... that sucks man, either pay the 350 or try and hand sand it and put some por15 on there

My 29,000 mile,garage kept 07's tail gate is rusting.

Ford has a 5 year unlimited mileage corrosion warranty. Go talk to your local dealership service manager. I had my hood repainted on my 06 Fusion because it bubbled.
