7.3 Excursion, 6.0 grille, and 08-09 headlights all in one.....

So I was leaving Wal-Mart and this Excusion passed me and it had the new 08-09 headlights in it, I did a double take and thought ohhhh hell naw, so I had to turn around and find it to take a pic or two. Turns out it is a 99-02 Excursion and they basically just cut the fenders and added some bondo to shape the corners for the lights to fit in. There is a gap that is not to bad between the grille and headlight but they did not mess with the factory hood either. Of course this is a hispanic's truck, due to the stickers that were on the back, lol and the "aint skeered" sticker on the headlight, as well as the ugly front bumper. But nonetheless I thought that it actually did not look bad at all, maybe a little more time around the edges and (if you look close you can see the sand marks all in the fender), but i think these headlights look sick in a 6.0, or 7.3....kinda makes me want to buy a set of 6.0 fenders and get them worked on till they are perfect and bolt them up to see how it flows. I did not see inside the engine bay to see what all they had to hack on to get them to sit back in the mounting position but they were flush and look pretty darn good.

Haha, I'm actually trying to convince one of my friends to do this to his Excursion... but of course he would do it the right way. And by that I mean buying the entire 08-10 front clip. Lights, bumper, fenders, hood, grill, etc. to make it look legit. Pretty cool though, I'll have to show him these pics. Thanks for sharing!
